Hi, I’m Carey.

I’m a storyteller and service designer passionate about turning complexity into clarity.

I’ve led projects from discovery to delivery, facilitated cross-functional workshops, and presented strategic narratives to C-suite audiences. Whether it’s redesigning governance spaces for an airport or building AI-powered alumni networks, I bring a systems-thinking lens and a human-centered approach to my work.

With a background in journalism and an MFA in Service Design from SCAD, I specialize in uncovering insights, aligning stakeholders, and designing systems for equity. My work spans UX research, service prototyping, and strategy for both nonprofits and corporations, in sectors across education and mobility.

More about me …

  • I’m adaptable, flexible, and great at filling in gaps to help drive the team towards excellence.

  • In my downtime, I'm a foodie home cook, dancer, and soft skills nerd who believes that human connection (and dialogue) holds the key to designing the future.

  • Things I wish I had more time for: crafts, reading every book I’ve ever been recommended, and exploring more corners of the world.

  • Curious about my food journey? I post very inconsistently on Instagram: @eatwithCarey
